My view
We have won da title and the cup, we are unbeaten away all season and we have scored in every game this season. A highly successful season capped off with a 4.3 win over Everton with the reserve team, bar Henry and Bergkamp. Henry claimed the golden boot with a brace against Everton and if you think he really is not a striker it puts the rest to shame. WELL DONE YOU GUNNERS!!!!!
Wenger ponders Far East raid
Arsenal are reportedly planning an £8million move for Japan and Parma's 25-year-old attacking midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata.
Arsene Wenger is a long-term admirer of the talented player, who helped Roma to the Serie A title before he switched clubs last summer.
He was strongly linked with a Gunners move back then, but Wenger was patiently waiting for Edu to emerge from the reserves and the Arsenal boss also strengthened the midfield with a move for a different Japan international - Gamba Osaka's Junichi Inamoto.
Wenger has said that he is not planning to recruit for the midfield this summer as Patrick Vieira is staying at Highbury and he already has Freddie Ljungberg, Robert Pires, Edu and Ray Parlour in his regular first-team plans.
But Nakata can push on and play behind an out-and-out striker instead, so he could provide a long-term replacement for Dennis Bergkamp in the line-up.
Nakata has had a relatively poor season with Parma, scoring just two goals as the Italian outfit ended the season in mid-table mediocrity and only five points above the relegation zone.
As with Inamoto, Nakata's signing would be a guaranteed money-spinner in terms of his merchandising value in the lucrative Far East market.
But Nakata is also a player of proven quality in European football and an integral part of the Japan side which is co-hosting the forthcoming World Cup.
Grimandi rejects Urawa switch
Out-of-contract utility man Gilles Grimandi has turned down an offer to join Japanese outfit Urawa Reds, according to reports in the Far East.
The 31-year-old Frenchman, who leaves The Gunners this summer, admitted last week that he recently visited Japan for talks with an unnamed J-League club and was mulling over their offer.
Japanese reports over the past few weeks have consistently linked Grimandi with a move to Urawa, who play at the new Saitama Stadium on the outskirts of Tokyo.
After Grimandi's apparent rejection of their offer, Reds are expected to offer a new deal to young Brazilian midfielder Harison, who had been set to leave the club to make way for the Arsenal man.
Grimandi has hinted that a move to the Far East would appeal to him as he says he wants to try a different culture, with Arsene Wenger likely to help him find a club given his numerous contacts in Japan.
NEW CHAMPIONS SET RECORD WITH VICTORY
Arsenal became the only team to score in every Premiership game as they rounded off their season with a 4-3 win over Everton.
Thierry Henry was on target twice for the newly-crowned champions to claim the Golden Boot for the Premiership's top scorer.
Francis Jeffers scored late in the game against his former club, while Lee Carsley, Tomasz Radzinski and Steve Watson were on target for Everton.
Bergkamp opened the scoring in the fourth minute as Ashley Cole's persistence was rewarded when Alan Stubbs dithered on the ball and the full-back nipped in to cross to Bergkamp, who converted the chance with a minimum of fuss.
But Everton equalised as Igor Stepanovs played a suicidal ball across his own penalty area on 20 minutes to allow Tomasz Radzinski to tee up Lee Carsley.
Then Radzinski promptly burst clear down the other flank as Oleg Luzhny rashly committed himself, before producing an accomplished finish past Richard Wright into the far corner.
Arsenal hit straight back with Stubbs again at fault as Bergkamp robbed him of the ball and although he could have shot himself, he selflessly chose to set up Henry.
The Gunners continued to struggle to impose themselves after the break, with Wright producing a series of fine saves to deny Carsley and Radzinski.
And so it was against the run of play that Henry scored his second of the game in capitalising on Edu's through-ball.
From then on, however, Arsenal were majestic as they finally turned on the style.
Jeffers endured a torrid time as he was first denied by Steve Simonsen and then fluffed an open goal, but he kept his head to nod home the final goal with seven minutes.
The fitting finale was the appearance of substitute keeper Stuart Taylor to ensure that he receives a championship medal.
And while he was promptly left exposed to allow Steve Watson to hit a consolation effort, that was of little consequence as the Arsenal players received their medals and the Premiership trophy after the game.

Lampard hails Freddie as best in England
CHELSEA midfielder Frank Lampard believes our Swedish superstar Freddie Ljungberg is the best player in the country at the moment.
Ljungberg has been on fire recently and scored another wonder goal on Saturday to seal victory in the FA Cup Final.
The international midfielder ran 40 yards through the Chelsea defence, shrugging off the challenge of John Terry before curling a delightful shot into the top corner of Carlo Cudicini's net.
That made it 2-0 following Ray Parlour's 69th minute thunderbolt and Lampard believes Ljungberg is in the form of his life.
"At the moment Freddie Ljungberg is the best player in the whole country," he said.
"He makes clinical runs and that finish in the Cup Final was tremendous. He is going to be a real threat to England in the World Cup Finals."
"Arsenal are one step ahead of us, but it's one of the biggest steps.
"I think we are a very good side, but Arsenal are a great side.
"They are very consistent in the league, which is something we need to improve. Coming into the FA Cup Final they knew that even if they lost this match, they still had the Premiership title as a consolation which was a luxury we did not have."
